The Peninsula at Hawaii Kai is a community of 630 single and multifamily apartment homes and condominiums with large open spaces and lush landscaping. The last waterfront community to be built in Hawaii Kai, The Peninsula has nearly one mile of waterfront with views of the marina at every turn. The development offers five residential choices or product types and the architecture reflects Hawaii's multicultural traditions.
The community is located on the eastern side of Hawaii Kai near Koko Crater. It is built on 43 acres in two parcels:
520 Lunalilo Home Road
A gated peninsula of land within the marina.
580 Lunalilo Home Road
The adjacent parcel mauka of Wailua Street, has a broad expanse of waterfront.
Amenities include a meeting/party room, BBQ's and picnic tables, open park space, exercise room, 2 pools with spas, wading pool, and boat docks. In addition there are pavilions, 2 gazebos, a tot park, and a marina promenade.
Conceived and built by Stanford Carr Development, Inc., the community was completed in 2006. The Hawaii Kai Peninsula Association of Apartment Owners (HKP AOAO) was formed at that time, combining the 5 residence groups (product types) into one homeowners association.
